at what point will the frustrations of doing business outweigh the *wow* that is an Apple product.

Not soon. They are in control either way and that's ultimately cool They're simply in control of a lot of their marketing by design and it's working. And they are hot dogs about it ( egoic) which is also fine cause they can do what they want right now in advertising history. Their lack of savvy in this ego area will catch up with them but Steve Jobs doesn't care. He is the ( yawn ) maniac behind this great innovation, ushering in excellent technological breakthroughs to the masses and as timelines go-- deserves to be in the good position he is now in. Checkmate.

Totally agreed. The question is, when does the balance tip from the "I love this product" side to the "Apple sucks" side.

There are different kinds of frustration; for example, there's "argh, Apple sucks," and there's "argh, I want the product but I can't get one". The former seems a lot more likely to actually negatively affect sales than the latter, no?

Yeah, my MBP is a lot happier with Chrome. Gone are the days of sweaty palms during late night code jams.

I'll check out the extensions. Thanks for those leads.

I switched to Chrome for my full time browsing a few months back and haven't looked back. It's faster, cleaner and just plain better. I still have to use Firefox for Firebug and some other development plugins. Web Inspector is good, but it's not Firebug.

Chrome is for web browsing.
Firefox is for development.
Internet Explorer is for people who hate themselves.

A few must have Chrome extensions: Aviary, Chrome SEO, Google Voice, Evernote & Webpage Screenshot.
